Well I told you my view about that. I think that the answer to your question will come in the third movie though so I guess we'll have to wait for that. EDIT: Did you happen to see Superman Returns? Brandon Routh is excellent in that movie!! I saw it this weekend and do you mean his acting or his looks?

What I still don't really understand though, is how *SPOILER!* Barbossa is able to return in the end of POTC 2 when he dies so obviously in the end of POTC. He is clearly alive, because he is eating an apple, but how?? I don't understand either; though I do have one theory: **POSSIBLE SPOILER MENTIONED** ...Yeah...incase no one's seen the film yet... c_c;; Anyway, well, my theory is that woman, the one who gave Jack the jar of dirt; she's apparently some sort of psychic, so she must have foreseen it and went to get Barbossa. And considering they're in a cavern which supposedly no one can find, she much have used an item similar to that of Jack's compass. I'm still too puzzled by Barbossa's survival at all, supposedly the bullet hit him in the chest, possibly where the heart is. Even if the initial shot didn't kill him, then he surely would have bled to death, and/or even lead poisoning (assuming they did use lead for bullet balls in that era). **OKAY, YOU CAN LOOK NOW** That's my theory anyway. Perhaps I'm thinking too much into it, I am a strict follower of logic in fiction. ^^; They said the third PotC movie was to come out a few months after this one, but a few sites are saying March or May 2007; did they change the date or something? I'm confused. :/

I read somewhere it was going to be the 13th of June or July (I can't remember) So we have to wait even longer :S. My theory is a lot less complicated, but not logic fiction (because nothing in PotC is really logical)
***POSSIBLE SPOILER***
I think Barbossa did die. And what do you think happened to Jack? What happens to a person, a mortal as Jack is, if he's eaten by a giant Sea monster and is drug under water? You die. So at the moment JACK IS DEAD!!!! I think that people, when they die in PotC, go to the end of the world. That's why they have to go there to get Jack back, and who knows the waters out there at the end of the wold better then someone who has been there and came back again, aka Barbossa. I hope this makes any sense (it always sounds more logical in my head).
***THE END ;D***
Well that's my theory. And another thing that I noticed the second time I saw PotC 2.
***ANOTHER SPOILER***
Do you remember that medallion that Davie Jones has, with the heart? Ok, keep that in mind. When Jack goes to Tia Dalma (Or something, I kinda forgot) he looks at a kind of thing looking like a medallion, which looks like the opposite of Davie Jones's one. Which would mean that the mystery woman that Davie Jones was so deeply in love with that he cut out his heart is in fact Tia Dalma.
***END OF SPOILER NO. 2***
I don't know if anybody else noticed that, but I think that that will come back in three as well.

I never noticed that. :/ But I'm getting that the woman whom Davey Jones loved is Elizabeth's mother...That's just a feeling I'm getting. It could be just me, but Davey Jones seemed to have softer looks when he saw her and Will. Perhaps she bears a great resemblance to his lover, or it's just Will and Elizabeth's affections for each other triggering memories. But I think it being Elizabeth's mother (before she married governor Swann) sounds like something the writers would pull off for some reason.

That could be too, but I never thought of that. I think it's Tia Dalma, I guess we're going to have to wait. But I must say that all the waiting, for this movie the next hp movie, the next hp book, the next eragon book etc is really annoying. I just want it to know what's going to happen, all these long breaks in between, kind get out of the story.

I know! It's not fair! D:
Well, about the little clip that shows up after the credits; according to a friend, I heard it's not really worth staying through the credits for. :/ It's just the dog sitting on a throne. This is something they should have left for before the credits. Unless it's a major plot point, they shouldn't make people sit and wait forever until the credits end. >:/

Well, it's just fun to wait till the end of the credits to look weither there will be a little extra (in this case the dog). I mean, after the credits of film 1, you could only see the monkey, an that wasn't a major plotpoint either. It's just a little bit of fun . And like my dad always says, you paid for the entire movie, that includes the credits

Yeah I think so too, I love these little shots after the credits, even if they don't mean anything.
Too bad they don't do that in many movies, besides after most movies there is something I want to know from the credits, so I watch a part of them anyway.

me neither. It's just like back in the days, with Lord of the Rings. First you wait for such a long time, and then finally you see it, and then its done, and you have nothing to look forward too. I just hope that the Eragon film in December will be a nice break from the waiting, and if it's any good, it provides a new posssibility for another trilogy.
