I reading about 4 books at the same time at the moment. That's because I'm unbelievebly behind on the reading I have to do. I don't know if I mentioned it before, but I switched studies two years ago and now I'm studing English Language and Culture, and I focusing of Literature, which means that I have to read approximately one book a week. My exams are in three weeks and I still have to read 4 of the required books (yeah I know, I lost focus a little, took one to many holidays) so that's why I have to read like crazy right now. So the books I'm reading at the morning are al for the same course: British Modernist Fiction, and I still have to read: - The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad
- Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse by Virginia Woolf
- A Passage to India by F.M. Forster
I don't think the modernist fiction genre is something for me. And I hate that I don't have time to read the books I really want to read (Luckily I found the time the read Eldest, Jen, else these last books would have driven me crazy )

I'm currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. So far I think it's a really good book. I feel so bad for Chiyo and everything she has to go through. The descriptions a very alive, I can practically hear the character's voices as I read.
I have a lot of reading to do as well; I really, really, wanna read Howl's Moving Castle and the rest of Chronicles of Narnia, but I still have another four unread books on my shelf. I'm a little out of control with my books. In January I had nine unread books when I haven't even finished the one I had at the time. c_c;;;

I saw Memoirs of a geisha in the cinema, and really liked it, so I bought the book, but unfortunately it still on my shelf, unread.

At the moment I'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia. I've almost finished the first book, so I still have a long way to go. By the way, you really don't want to know how many unread books I still have on my shelves. The last year I tended to buy more books than I could read, because they were cheap. So the scales tipped a bit... If you want to know: At the moment I have just over 30 books that I still have to read, not counting the half of a dozen of sequels that I want to buy because I read the first books this last year. I suppose you could a call me a bookaholic or a bookworm... I still want to read Memoirs of a geisha, but I have forbidden myself to buy any more books at the moment, because I still have so many to read. If I buy, I'll only buy sequels. And the Mists of Avalon belongs to my list of unread books too by the way (have seen the film though!).

Oooh, I've had my eye on Mists of Avalon for a long time. Chronicles of Narnia is awesome, though I've only read the first book. But I was so enthralled by it, I just HAVE to get the rest of the books. I might sneak off to the book store and get it. XD

the book Mists of Avelon is so much better than the film, I've read it several times and enjoy it everytime, but if your read that one you ought the read the previous parts, the Forests of Avelon and The Lady of Avelon, coz these are amazing aswell, it gives you a glimps in the way how Avelon came to be.
