Who has read Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini? I simply LOVE these books, espescially the second one. They are the kind that are very hard to put away once you start reading them.

Are they good?? I really want to read them but if I put them on hold at the library it's a 3 month wait. I'm hoping to buy them but I'm still debating. Are you planning on seeing the film when it comes out?

The books are definately good. You have to keep in mind though that Christopher was only 15 when he wrote Eragon. You really see his writing skills developing throughout Eragon, and improving majorly in Eldest. the story is really really good. I can really advise you to buy the books, it's a good buy. If you decide to borrow them at the library, make sure you reservate Eragon and Eldest simultaniously, because you'll want to continue to read .
As for the movie, I plan on going to see it, though I fear that it will be quite disappointing. The foto's I've seen so far don't look that great. Quite different from the image I got from the books.

Yeah you told me that, maybe I won't go to the movie, coz I'm afraid that it will destrory the image I have now. But you should really read them, I read Eragon last fall, and I finished Eldest earlier this month (how time flies), and even though I was already behind on the books I HAD to read, I just couldn't put it away, I read the last 200/250 pages I think I one evening and a little bit the next morning, staying up till like 4 in the morning, that only time I did that before, was with the Halfblood Prince, but it was so captivating I just counldn't put it away.
