Mirkwood is alight with beauty. It is an exciting event being hosted, and King Thranduil could be seen all over the castle. Prince Legolas has returned from his journey of the One Ring of course, leaving his home around three years ago. Now, this is his first name day since he's been home-and everyone is in an uproar. Thousands of elves are celebrating this tremendous event, decorating, preparing-it's a joyous event. Elves from every realm are invited, including the King Aragorn and Queen Arwen.
The garden is light up with lavendar colored sea glass orbs, containing several fire flies to light up the forest. Elves are cooking, cleaning, and laughing-it's truly a blessing to have their young prince home once again. Well, young...2,934 years is young right? { Borrowed from darkmirk.proboards33.com}

Neisa Malbrindal was certainly up for a party or two.
It had been quite a long time since she had celebrated anything, and it was VERY nice indeed when she was in Mirkwood for the party of... well.. the millennium.
It was all really quite thrilling.
Neisa decended the stairs quickly. She had been totally unhelpful these past weeks that she had been in Mirkwood, and now was the time she would help.
At least with the decorations, she might prove helpful; and quickly she was set to work by a flustered looking grandmotherly elf.
She quickly set out on her assigned job- tie bows. Everywhere.

She had come in completely clueless as to why every one was hustling out and about so she had taken care of her horse on her own and was not sure whether she wanted to search out Lord Thranduil or not. She went out into the gardens where most of the bustling was happening. She smiled seeing the elves bussy at work with decorations. It would be a beautiful scene she imagined. It had been so long since she had been in Mirkwood, and even longer since she had been to one of it's parties.

“Tell me that you haven’t been on the run, lately, and I might keep my spirits light.” King Aragorn said as he stood with his wife, the Queen of Gondor, and Lady Miriel of Lothlorien. Aragorn was an older brother to her, Arwen like her sister. Miriel had never had such close, good friends. It was safe to say they were two of her only friends.
“All right,” said Miriel. “I haven’t been on the run…lately.”
“Liar.” Arwen said immediately.
Miriel’s eyes danced. “An expert, of course,” she said bowing. “But I’m glad you’re here. I’m really only acquainted with the Prince and my sister-and the King of course, but I know you two much better.”
“Better than your own sister?” Aragorn asked.
Miriel nodded. “I haven’t seen her in years.” She stressed the word.
“Is it a good or bad thing she’s here?” Arwen asked, taking her hand.
Miriel looked up at her. Her eyes told the truth. I do not know.

"Erugenel!" Neisa called, happily, waving her friend over. "Would you like to help me?"
Erugenel nodded and together, they tied the bows around every column in the hall..
"It looks sad," Neisa commented about a bow Erugenel tied.
"How can a bow look sad?" was the reply, "It's fine,"
"It's sad," Neisa insisted, trying her best to perk up the bow a bit.

Erugenel laughed. "I suppose I do not have the same touch for decorations as you." She told her.
"Or is there something bothering?" Neisa asked raising her brow at her as she fixed the bow. Erugenel looked shocked at her.
"No." She told her. She only gave a soft hmmm and made the last touches.

Mininirime hopped outside into party central, the gardens. Everywhere elves were putting up decorations. From the kitchens delicious smells wafted through the gardens. Mininirime looked around, Lord Aragorn and Lady Arwen had already arrived and were talking to Miriel. Arwen waved at her, and Mininrime waved back in greeting, but let them to their conversations. a few yards away Neisa and Erugenel were tying bows to the trees. Mininirime was making her way towards them when a young elf stopped her.
"Milady, can you help me?" The little boy elf was holding a basket with little flowers like stars. These flowers could be found near the streams in Mirkwood, they lit up like stars in the starlight. "These must go up on the lowest branches of the trees, just above our heads, to light the path."
Mininirime smiled at the boy. "No problem, I'll lift you up." She grabbed the boy's hips and put him up on her shoulders. They walked down the path and the boy put the small flowers up everywhere.
