In the village Bywater under a small hill, round doors open to a dimly lighted room, and out of the open windows comes the sound of singing, talking, and laughing. You hear a voice ring out:
“No thank 'ee," said Ted, "I won't. I heard tell of them when I was a youngster, but there's no call to believe in them now. There's only one Dragon in Bywater, and that's Green,"he said, getting a general laugh. - The Fellowship of The Ring.
You enter a cozy pub, hobbits sitting around fires in cozy chairs or at the wooden bar. It is The Green Dragon, a place where all hobbit folk and strange visitors may come and relax, hobbit style. You order an ale, when behind you, you hear voices singing:
“Oh you can search far and wide, You can drink the whole town dry, But you'll never find a beer so brown As the one we drink in our home town! You can keep your fancy ales, You can drink them by the flagon, But the only brew for the brave and true, Comes from the Green Dragon!”
You join in and start enjoying the hobbit style fun.
PS. The post for thepub owner is still vacant.
