OK, today I ate something really weird and didn't even know it until after I ate it. So that is what gave me this idea as something to talk about.
Write down your favorite food, and then the last thing you ate that you probably wouldn't have eaten if you knew what it was.
--
My favorite food is my family's recipe of Chicken Enchiladas, and today (the last thing nasty I ate) was cow tounge in a soft taco!
We were doing a car wash today for cheer leading- which gave me this mungo sunburn on my arms, shoulders and neck, and Addie who is Latino went over to the best taco place in our town only ten feet away from where we were. She came over and you know it looked really good, I thought it was beef! So she offered me a bite and I took one. I thought it tasted odd, you know, it was a real soft texture and I didn't really like it, and it had a strange flavor. And then she told me. IT'S COW TONGUE! Not the part of a cow I was thinking of!

Wow...I hate it when that happens. I don't think I've been in that situation, thankfully...Although there was that one time I ate marinated squid...but I knew what it was. I ate it anyway, but I didn't like it. :/
Anyway, my favorite food: rice curry. My mouth literally starts to water everytime I think about it. I honestly wish I knew how to make it properly. XD

my last food I really didn't like was squid too, only I didn't know what it was untill I tasted it. It were squid rings, and I thought it were some special kind of chips/fries, but when I had them in my mouth and tasted the rubbery thing I almost puked (but I was in a restaurant, so I discretely spit in back into my napkin). But that was several years ago. This last year I've been to China (Hong Kong to be more precise)a few times and the things they eat there, it's really incredible. My bf ate fried scorpions on a stick, and there were all kinds of beetles and spiders and such, I couldn't eat that, too weird for me.
My absolute fav food is risotto, I make that with a friend once every week (if possible), with mushrooms and peach, or another fruit. It's really good!

My fav food is home made lasagna, chinese and tortillas. I like quite a lot of food, espescially when I go out for dinner. I can't really recall the last time I ate something that I rather wouldn't have eaten. I think it must have been grapefruitjuice, although I knew what it was I didn't know what it tasted like. And it tasted absolutely horribly. I certainly will never drink that again!

It's so sour, brrr, it gives me chills down the spine. Actuelly I have to confes something, Jen, I kinda really like the microwave lasagna from the Albert Hein. Maybe I should eat a real lasagna once more, so I can compare.

Mmmm, lasagna. *drool*
Hmm, there is one time where I was eating udon, and there's like slice of what my friend tells me is a fish cake. Bit into it, it was like rubber...it did not have a fish kind of flavor...so she'd better be telling the truth, XD

Lol- we had a Japanese girl staying with us when I was way younger and can't remember anything, and she would make us these Japanese dishes, and you know they're all raw sea food and what not. Apparantley I would fight over squid with my dad! Now I don't know how I stomached it when I was a kid the sight of them make me want to run!

I kinda like octopus (on sushi that is). With squid it depends very much on how it is prepared, because it's very sensitive: if you cook it just too longit tastes kinda rubbery. But if it is prepared right it tastes absolutely wonderful!

Then I must have always had the overcooked squid. I normally like the raw fish as well, the suchi I've had till now has been absoluteliy great (except that one time in an theme park, but that was to be expected). When we're in Aken we should eat at that one place again, with the soup and the sushi, remember Jen . And don't forget your camera, maybe we can make a few new pictures. But back to food...What I also really really love, is my mum's homemade pizza, expecially the fish pizza's.
