I was woken up at 6:40, almost an hour and a half ago, my my Grandmother who was going to go walking with me. This is the gist of our conversation:
Ringer: *Stacy's Mom song*
Ella: *was asleep* Hello? G: You're not up yet are you? Ella: I'm awake, I'm just not up *burrows in covers* G: Well, you might as well go back to bed because it's flooded too much to go walking. Ella: O.O It's flooded?! G: There's water everywhere sweetheart. Ella:....oh....
I get up to find my dad in the kitchen making coffee, let him talk to my Grandmommy, go over to see the back door open, pull it open-THE WATER IS ALMOST UP TO OUR DOOR...
Does you remember Allison? Ok, yeah, this is just like that. People are stuck on almost every road, traffic is backed up, and this entire day has been shot to hell by the weather. THE GUY I LIKE WAS SUPPOSED TO COME INTODAY! T________T *sigh*
So, I'm stuck in doors with two dogs and I'm contemplating whether to go next door where my best friend lives and snag something to eat...because we have nothing. >.> <.<
This is just me...wanting someone to talk to...XD!
Anyone have any 'survivor' stories?

Well, not exactly survivor stories that I can think of. I do have two other little stories that might interest you. The first one took place about five years ago, perhaps six. I was studying at my desk when I went to the toilet. As soon as I was in the bathroom I heard one hell of a noise. As a I returned back to my desk I saw that the bookshelf that was hanging above my desk (and it was quite a big heavy one, loaded with books), had fallen off the wall, on the exact place where I had been sitting earlier. It had broken lots of stuff on the way down and it looked like a bomb had gone off. I swear, I've never been more lucky than that day. Something or somebody must have been watching over me, or else I would have gotten some really serious injury there, or worse.
Second creepy thing: it happened today at the lab. I was working in a sterile chamber, planting out cells in dishes, when all of a sudden the gasburner starts going on and off by it self! Normally you have to step on a pedal to start it, but it did it on it's own. I swear to you, it was so creepy! And it did it quite a few times, so in the end I switched it off all together. It was as if there was a poltergeist there or something....

; Wow... Hmmm, well, I've got a few, but I don't know if they count. But I'll go ahead and tell one. ^^; When I was about nine years old, my dad and I were looking at the stars with a new telescope he got. Apparently there was some sort of gang fight going on; one of the gang members ran up to us and told us to head indoors or else we'd get caught in their. The rival gang's car drove by, then dad and I hid before we'd be shot; considering idiots in the middle of a fight will kill anyone in their path. Once we were sure it was safe we headed back inside where we lived. That's pretty much it for this one. ^^;

Geeze, that sounds pretty scary! Do you get those gang fights a lot were you live?

OMG I'd be so frightened if that had been me! Luckily Nijmegen isn't really the most dangerous town to live in, so I don't have to think about stuff like that happening. Jeez, I can't even imagine how I would act if it was me.
This is a story about a guy I know, so it didn't happen to me, and I wasn't there, but it did really happen:
This gay guy I know went home by train, and when he arrived at Maastricht central station he had to go over a bridge to go from one platform to the other. There were all of the people hanging around, people you don't want to meet when your alone and it is evening and your gay (not that that is something you usually notice, but still.) But were what we call Lonsdal youth, or maybe even skinheads, I don't remember exactly. Anyway he started up the stairs to the 'bridge and then, and those guys came up as well, like they were following him. And when he was on the bridge, which is more like a hallway, closed on all sights so there are only two escapes, these guys were still behind him, so he couldn't get back. So he walk along, trying to be as unnoticeable as possible, when he heard the sound of a knife coming out a sheath, or a knife flicking open or something. He started speeding, thinking that it was him they were after, when he noticed another gang coming up on the other side of the bridge, and he knew he was gonna be stuck in the middle, so he just started running like crazy, avoiding all the members of the gangs, and hoping that he wouldn't get knifed or something. Luckily he got out without a scratch on him, and the gangs still fighting behind him.

Hey I was wondering something. Are you two, Miriel and Niesa Malbrindal, sisters? Or is the name thing one big freak coincidence?

Miriel and Neisa are twins in Mirkwood. I don't think they are IRL.

Pffft, whatever. XD! We might as well be. It cannot be coincidence that we're so much alike, finish each other's sentences, and KNOW when something's wrong without having to tell. Come on, that's just almost creepy.
