Míriel Málbrindal: Enchantress of Song
The field is cut and bleeds to red,
The cannon balls fly 'round my head,
The infirmry man may count me dead-
I've gone to find my ain true love.
Name: Míriel Málbrindal
Meaning: Brilliant jewel. Golden footed.
Age: 2, 000 years old.
Features: Tall, 5' 8'', with the grace of a dancer. Thick mahogany curls that tumble over strong shoulders. Her skin, given to her by her Rivendell mother, is like peaches and cream, spotless and pure. Bright shining come-hither eyes of emerald slanted with dark lashes. Her lips are the color of prim rose. Her feet are dainty yet strong, and her voice is angelic and melodious, hypnotic.
Race: Mother was of Rivendell, Father was of Lothlorien.-Valar.
Weapons: Cresent moon shaped sword, heavy with a platinum blade and mother of pearl inscriptions, "When there is unjustice, I am the first to condemn it, for I am condemned myself." Her voice, like a Siren, is hypnotic and can make nearly anyone, when singing, forget where they are.
Ride/Pet(s): Lalaith, a Palomino meras with a wicked sense of humor, and a dangerous temper which frequently can be spotted within the deep depths of his fiery green eyes. Nimfea, a pearl white wolf with long, soft hair and tail, and misty gray eyes full of wisdom.
Family: A twin sister, Neisa.
History: The story begins in Mirkwood. Forvenniel Vanlanthiriel was one of Thranduil's honored guests from Rivendell. She was a high lady there, and when the Spring Festival approached, she was invited to come along. The General of the Galadrahim went by the name of Maldor Málbrindal, whom was also visiting. Forvenniel and Maldor met the night of the Festival, and it was considered love at first sight, although Forvenniel had been watching another soldier at the time. From there, when Forvenniel had to depart to Rivendell, there was a party held in her honor. In a desperate chance to make her stay, Maldor crashed the party and confessed his love for her in front of all the High Elven Lords and Ladies. That had permanently set Forvenniel's heart in Maldor's hands, and they were married in Lothlorien. A couple years later, their twin daughters were born-Miriel and Neisa.
One day, Forvenniel took Niesa with her on a journey back to Rivendell to see some family members. Miriel was left with Maldor in his care. While gone, Maldor was called into duty when an orc attack invaded the borders of Lothlorien, and was killed. When Forvenniel was given the news, she left Neisa in the care of Elrond, knowing she would be taken care of until she could return with Miriel. Unfortunately, through the memorial of her late husband, Forvenniel was not given the motivation to return to Rivendell, her spirits shot and her heart broken. She sunk into depression, dying of a broken heart.
This left the twin girls to grow up in different worlds, Neisa in a golden world with the sun, and Miriel with the angelic, heavenly realm of Lothlorien. Eventually, when both were given the authority to leave, they ventured out, however never meeting each other. They were aware that both had a sister, but never did. Miriel took up the destiny of her father, and worked and trained with soldiers and the like. Miriel fell at a young age, to a Lothlorien General Erurainon. As she got older, she realized that things were changing...in love and her destiny. They seperated, and he left for Rivendell-and many thought her heart was broken, but she hardened herself, and turned to fighting as a way out. When she was granted the proper training, she left Lothlorien and went to Gondor, experiencing herself with human soldiers. There, she met the Rangers. She liked the style of their fighting, and their tracking was blameless. Fascinated by their methods, Miriel traveled with them all over Middle Earth, and was there to witness their dying out. During this time, she aquired her wolf, Nimfea. She went as far as the Ice Bay with them. Also during this time, Neisa had returned to Lothlorien to reaquaint herself with the White Lady, then returning to Rivendell. Miriel had missed her sister, once again. Finally, on her returning, the Lady Warrior was given her first journey-to return to Greenwood the Great, the meeting place of her mother and father, and serve King Thranduil as a High Lady and possibly a warrior.
Unbeknowest to either, the Málbrindal sisters would meet for the very first time.
