Oh man, now that sucks. XD I only lose mine when I have a cold. Though my sister makes fun of me, saying I look and sound like Tucker from Full Metal Alchemist.
Most of the day I just chilled out...well, can't call it 'chill' if the weather's 99 F... c_c;; Well, you get the point; anyway, I just relaxed since the day before, I spent working like mad on some projects. Got them finished, yay, but there's still more. @_@;; The most I did was work on my story. I helped out my sister pick what she's going to wear for her junior high; if no one steps in, she'd go in jeans and t-shirt. D: I had an even harder time trying to pick something to wear, all my good shirts are long-sleeves, and that's a huge no-no in this summer weather. >_<;; That's pretty it; it's been a slow two days for me. And now it's time for me to finish up on a couple of things, then read so I can finally fall asleep. @_@;;

I hope you get your voice back soon!
The last few weeks I've just been working hard at my internship results. I had to do two presentations on literature studies (my second one is today, so that's what I've been working on all day), a full report on our research and the results, a posterpresentation (which is tomorrow) and I have an exam on monday, for which I still have to read 6 articles. So yeah, I'm kinda busy and other things will have to wait. For example: I still have about a month's worth of Lost that I still have to watch... Ah well, I'm just trying to keep it together by reminding myself that I'll be lying on the beach by next week tuesday ;D

I went to my sister's graduation; I did not enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. First mom and I can't find dad since he said he would meet up with us after parking the car. Then when he got in, some jerk started causing trouble, then had the nerve to act like he was the victim when he called for security. Dad turned the tables on him. With my mom and I, this woman and her kids start b******g at us, saying we stole their seats...they weren't anywhere near the seats, nor anyone told us the seats were saved. I got pretty vicious when I defended my mom and I; then the idiot woman calls security on us, acting like the victim also. But I told the guy what happened and he left us alone. Sometimes I think people are getting more rude and whiny nowadays; it wouldn't kill anyone to have common sense. *mutters*
But despite the fiasco over empty seats, it was nice seeing my sister graduating. After the unnecesarily long ceremony, we headed back home, I chilled out. I spent the rest of the day arguing and debating with other people. Sometimes I wonder if I should become a lawyer...I get into so many arguments, I may as well make money off of it, don't ya think? X3

Yes you could, but that would be such a waste of talent! Well, since I've not been here for so long I'm gonna give you a What I did the last 3 weeks . I won't go into too many details... First I did my last exams, which I aced by the way ;D. Then I quickly made a portfolio of my last semester communication skills, because my teacher neglected to tell us that there was a deadline, and I got in some time trouble, because I was going on a holiday. Then I raced to the train and then the my bf's fraternity, to watch one of Hollands last football matches before they got obliterated by Portugal (The Netherlands vs. Argentina). The next morning I had to get up a 5 am or something to catch the train to Brussels Airport and the Plain to Valencia, where my bf and I rented a car and went to his aunts holiday home, where I spent 13 gorgeously sunny day wor5king on my tan besides to pool. And since that's pretty much all I did, my holiday doesn't need much more telling, only that I went to the dinner show, which was absolutely fabulous. I mean WOW what some people can do, just amazing. I came home last Wednesday and spent most my time unpacking and stuff like that, the next day I worked on a few Uni Assignments, which I had to hand in before the next day. In the evening I started catching up with the forum, but jeez you guys did so much, that I'm afraid I'll never catch up, especially with all the new threads and stuff. But Jeej, for making the forum this good again !. The next day I realized that I had to make three more assignments, and got in some time trouble again, because I was to attend one of my bf's fraternity brothers graduation from Uni (he's going to the US this August, and I'm too jealous, hopefully my bf will take me when he goes to visit.) Any wayz, I missed the ceremony, but was just in time for the reception and of course the party , which is of course most important. This weekend I watched HP with my bf (my like thousands time, his second, but I'm winning him over from the Harry Potter is for little children-side, even forcing him to read the books.) Well that was what has happened to me, nothing very much special, but hey, that's good right?

Wow, you had a busy three weeks! I'm pretty, pretty sure your boyfriend's going to be addicted to the Harry Potter books...so don't be surprised if you don't see him for a while. No one did when I read them. XD; I've had a slow day; been trying to take it easy on all my projects. Half the day at least. X3; The second half, I've been trying to catch up on my art and stories have been so delayed because of things that happened earlier in the week. Friday I went to the eye doctor for my long over due check up (the doctor we originally had canceled all appointments for my sis, myself, and my dad, twice. ._.; ). Getting a new pair of glasses too, I needed an update. I was very irritated with the exam in which a little machine that blows air right into the eye. >_<;; The following morning, my dog returned after he was missing for about four days. I blame the idiots who play with their fireworks weeks before the Fourth of July, and I blame some guy from the gas company for busting the door; I don't care if it was accidental. Other than that, I've been good.

I hate those exams too, but they are really very necessary. They check your eye pressure or something, and if your eye pressure is wrong (too high or too low) something in you eye can get loose (the retina) and you go blind.
I don't know whether it's completely true, but that's what I've been told, so now I just let them blow into my eyes and don't complain about it.

Wow, in that case, I wouldn't mind having air puffed into my eyes. Better than going blind. c_C;;

My day wasn't too spectacular yesterday. My bf had to work, so I was hanging about a bit in his parents house, watching The Loin King when his little brother (who's my age, so not so little) came in with some firends. I heard them at the door, so I jumped up from the coutch, where I lay sloughing watching one of my fav disney's, and rushed to the vcr and quickly turned every thing of, picked up my book, and pretended that I'd been reading all along. I don't even know why I got so embarrased about the fact that I was watching Disney, there's nothing wrong with Disney, but I was.

Mine wasn't all that great as well. I've been trying to relax as much as I can, which is why I haven't posted in the past couple of days. I've been a little worried about my health and worrying too much, I know, will make it worse. I'm going to the doctor, hopefully today, to see what's going on. I think it may be stress affecting my physicla health, but I'm still gonna go to to doc anyway. I gotta see if I can go with my dad to pick up his, my sister's, and my glasses anyway...so may as well stop on the way. I've only been working slowly on a drawing for my ex who's recently gotten out of chemo, I'm very happy for him. I've also been teaching my little bro how to play chess. He's such a little cheater, he keeps moving the other pieces around when it's my turn. XD; Ah well, he's still too little to know better. ^^;
So yeah, just wanted to let you guys know what was going on.

Yesterday: My day started like any other, I woke up, fell back asleep again, woke up again, this time for real, showered, etc. Took a train home, went to the harit dress, cut my hair, went home, painted it, sat in a chair and waited....FOR JEN TO PICK ME UP AND GO TO PIRATES!!!!! Ooh that was so much fun, I had a great time, and the movie wasn't half bad too No just kiddin, that movie was amazing! *later* I just finished helping my bf paint his new room, for today. Tomorrow we have to give everything another layer. The paint and stuff is bad for my nails and finger tips, this look disasterous right now.

I know it's only afternoon right now, and half my day is still in front of me, but what a morning did I have.
First yesterday: I helped my bf with his new studio again, this time his dad helped as well, and we worked till nine pm or so, so I was hungry and beat when we came back at his parents home.
I went to bed early, but my bf had to get up real early 6 am, so when the alarmclock went off, I was still way too tired to get up. My boyfriend went to his job, his parents and his brother as well, so when I woke up at like 9 am I was all alone. I took my time getting ready, but when I wanted to leave the house I discovered that they had locked me inside, with out a key to get out!
After a small panick attack I decided to call my bf and see what I had to do to get out of my prison. He suggested I climb out of the window get the sper key and lock up again. So there I was, a quarter to eleven, hanging out of the window. I couldn't find the spare key of course, so I had to climb back in to get my phone and climb back out to get the key from where my boyfriend said it had to be (and where it was). All in all I had missed my bus and had to walk the half an hour walk to the trainstation.
That was my morning, and I do dearly hope that my afternoon is a little less eventful.

LOL Inge! Now that's certainly an eventful morning. Mine really wasn't: I slept in and sofar I haven't done much except spending some time on the internet. I want to do some reading and catch up on lost: I still have two months worth of Lost to watch, but with this warm weather I don't really feel like hanging behind the tv...
Yesterday I worked from 10.30 AM till 5 PM. Then I got myself ready to go to my aunt's 50th birthday party. It was soooo boring and warm. The most exciting thing I did last evening was eating. I think that sums it all up.

Since yesterday evening my whole town is in a bit of a mood of shock and mourning. Yesterday started one of the biggest walking event in Holland, 'The Four Day Marches'. This year about 76.000 people participated (or so I heard). But wee've been heaving really good summer weather for the last few weeks. Yesterday we hit top temperatures (which will be passed today) of 35 degrees celcius. The heat was too much for many of the walkers, and about 300 or so passed out, and 5 needed reanimation, and unfortunately enough two people died. And because of those deaths and the fact that the temperature isn't dropping sifnificantly yet, the whole event is canceled (except for the parties, which is a bit cross, but they couldn't cancel them because of the many commercial interests). This was the 90th edition, and this is the first time that it has been canceled. It's so strange to be here, with all the stranded walkers, and all those people who came for the events and the concerts.
Many people are still going to the concerts, I went to them yesterday, and still had fun, but it different now that the walk is canceled. I know quite a few people who were walking it, and they all trained a lot for it, and have been training for many months, and they are all very dissapointed. But still I think it was a good decision to cancel it, with this heatwave here. Yet I think everyone hoped that they would postpone it, untill the heat had passed.

Yes, I heard about that. A friend of mine was supposed to walk at the event aswell. Foortunately now for her, she couldn't go, because they were too late with booking the hotel (the hotels had been fully booked already for almost half a year in advance). I think she can be really happy about her "bad luck", because the way it has turned out to be. Although I don't think she would have started in this weather, she is sensible enough for that. But just imagine: before they called everything off, they advised the walkers to drink 2 liters of water every HOUR.
At the moment the heat is absolutely scorching. In our back garden it's 38 degrees Celsius right now and it's very humid. I don't think I've ever experienced such temperatures here.
Today I had to work at the restaurant. But don't think "Poor you, with those temperatures!", because in fact, it was the best place to be. despite the work, I could enjoy the nice cool airconditioning, which we don't have at home. It's still relatively cool though down on the main floor of our house, because of our isolation. But here in the attic, where the computer is, I'm melting away. So I won't be posting much today.
It's quite strange to know that right now it's warmer here than quite a few places around the equator....

Ugh, my day was awful the day before yesterday. And since it's much more interesting than today, I'll post what happened then.
Basically, you know how I posted how I had a family emergency? Yes. Well, my grandmother died and it was her funeral the day before yesterday, and I had to be a reader, and I was up there, reading from the bible on why death is good and watching my twenty five year old burly cousin break down and cry.
I love my grandmother. She was my namesake. And now shes under ground.
I'm sorry. Forget I posted this.
