A time to meet new people, make new friends, make new enemies… A time to begin a new life, a new time, a new start. Whether you were evil in the past, or whether you were good it can all change in a new beginning…
<In the other threads you might have it that you already know every one. In here every one is just meeting for the first time. This is… The Beginning.>

“Stupid dragon…” She kicked Aeglos, her great white andalusion to urge him to go faster. It wasn’t too hard for her beast to keep up with the one in the sky. He was a gift from her mother, and she knew very well where she got him. With a quick glance up Erugenel estimated how far ahead the dragon was and which way it was heading. Soon she found herself facing the woods that belonged to Mirkwood. She stopped Aeglos at once and let out a depressed groan.
“Why did it have to go there?” Aeglos seemed to chuckle under her as he shook his main smartly. He had never been to Mirkwood, but he knew it was her homeland and that she feared the place for only one reason. His master was only afraid of one thing. “Do not laugh at me.” She snapped giving him a sharp shove with her knee. Aeglos grunted under her but made no other respond. “Come on, I suppose I have to go back sooner or later.” With a neigh that told her he agreed Aeglos continued to pursue the dragon. He knew that she would follow the thing to the ends of the earth to get her twin sword back. Without it she would go mad. There were supposed to be two in a twin sword pair, and since the dragon had snuck up on her the night before and she stabbed it in the neck to keep it from swallowing her up there had only been one.
It flew above the canopy of trees but she could see it through the small openings as Aeglos jumped over fallen trees and small creeks. And every chance she got she used her arrows to try and slow it down aiming high up as she made sure her horse kept his good speed. Most often it worked and she thought it was going to land somewhere once, but he kept going. And she continued to follow knowing her arrows, though they may tire him would not kill him and she would still have to battle it to get her sword back. The shield on a dragon was a hard one to match, but she had battled a dragon before and had no problem doing it again. Especially when it tried to eat her for it's dinner and took her sword in it's neck as it ran away.

What the **** Mininirime looked at the sky in surprise, where not a moment ago a dragon had past overhead. But I thought...Bilbo and the last dragon?...But how? how is it possible? Mininirime thoughts seemed to run over the brim of her head. She had been traveling leisurely to Mirkwood, to visit her old friends there. But now her peace was disturbed. You don't see a dragon every day. Lets just see where it goes. She urged Mordred into a fast run and they hurried into the direction the Dragon was heading, deeper into Mirkwood. Every now and again she caught a glimps of him, leading her further and further.
"Where are you going?" She muttered to herself, "Faster Mordred. else he'll get a way." They reached a clearing. At the other side she saw another rider disappearing in the forest again, with great speed, in the same direction and the dragon went. That one must be following it too, maybe he'll know more. She wispered in Mordreds ear and he went even fast, slowly but surely closing in on the rider before her...

“How many times have I said that I absolutely hate these dragons that pop up when they are supposed to be dead!” Aeglos seemed to laugh, but not at her. The dragon was nearing the gate where Mirkwood soldiers stood guarding their posts. Erugenel took in a sharp breath hoping not to catch too much attention. After all- the dragon was riding lower.
Then she realize- oh heaven forbid he’s going to land on top of them! Hurling her fingers into her mouth so she could whistle sharp and loud she gathered the guards attention. None had noticed the white rider hurrying by and when she rose her bow they thought differently than she thought- until they saw the shadow of the massive body over head.
“Shoot it on the side!” She screamed. She needed them to chase it back into the wood where she could use the trees to her defense! Without a second thought they did as she ordered a rain of arrows falling on the beast. The dragon let out a shocked groan and doing just as she wished headed back into the trees, she followed it knowing she would have company sooner or later. But for now this was between her and the dragon.
He landed by a black creek groaning as he carefully landed, and when he saw her he was not at all happy. Roaring angrily and snapping defensively and hungrily he either tried to scare her off or catch her in his jaws. But neither were what Erugenel had in mind. Dismounting Aeglos she took out her long sword she hardly ever used its mixed blade catching any bit of sunlight it could catch. It was a death wish being granted when in her hand, and this dragon was asking for it…

When Mininirime reached the guards, the white rider and the dragon had already vanished back into the trees again. It was like an annoying cat and mouse game, and for she knew she was Tom, and would never catch Jerry. But quiting was not in her system, not now the adrenaline was racing through her body. she slowed down and cautiously entered the forest following the horse tracks on the ground. After a few minutes she silently reached a small clearing, where a great scene unfolded before her eyes, The white rider was a female elf, who had now engaged in a one to one fight with the dragon. Mininirime sensed that this was not just an elf killing a dragon, but more than that, it felt like revenge of some kind, and she was the last to mingle into a feud. So she decided to stay hidden among the trees and watch the fight, only to join if something went horribly wrong.

Aeglos gave a sharp neigh warning Erugenel of the dragon’s head quickly lashing at her, but with a quick spin and strong stroke she was able to but the dragon’s lips so they parted in a disgusting way. The dragon roared with frustration and anger and quickly turned to use his spiked tail against her.
“Give it back you idiot!” There was only another angry roar in reply. She could sense others around, some one had come- but so had others. The Mirkwood army was quick; she knew that well and respected it more. She could feel the shadows of the rain of arrows coming from the trees above, they seemed to know it was not she they were against, and a good thing too. Thranduil had been requesting her back numerous times since he had found out where she was, she had not actually meant to come, but here she was- with a dragon.
As the arrows flooded down Erugenel took cover under his expanded wing, then with a quick leap she was on top of it. When he realized she was on him not he began to recoil it close to him, but she was quicker and was soon on his shoulder. She felt like she was riding a wild horse, it was exciting, but when the horse wanted to chomp off your arm holding the sword it was incredibly annoying.
“Hold!” An elf called loud with his arms raised, Erugenel could see him in the corner of her eye, it was as if he had read her mind having the elves hold their arrows instead of them falling down on them again. She would have been able to prevent any life threatening shots at her, but it was easier to kill a dragon when you weren’t trying to dodge sharp edges. It was tedious enough with him throwing his neck around trying to wrangle her off. But as she reached the top of his head she knew, and it seemed the dragon knew that she had him and with a hasty flash of her sword she buried the blade in his head. With a desperate attempt the dragon threw his head up and made her fly up, he was bleeding horribly from his head and knew he was going to fall, but he was not going out without an attempt on his killer. He opened his jaws wide expecting an easy swallow but as soon she felt him under her she raised her sword to the roof of his mouth and finished the hole that was beginning at the top of his head- and then without further struggle he fell with her still stubbornly shoving her blade up.

Mininirime stood looking at the dragon, and the mysterious elf, with quite some awe. Besides her the Mirkwood army had gathered. Some looked at her in recognition. As the dragon finally fall beneath the pressure of the Elf's strokes, Mininirime had gone over to where the elf's horse stood and leaded towards his owner, who now stepped away from the dragon. "Here you go," Mininirime said as she handed to reigns back to the elf. "That was incredible, I've seen a lot of fighting, but only Legolas's actions against the Mhumakil can even come close to this, the rest pale in comparison."

Erugenel looked over at Mininirime and smiled. “I have seen him do it.” Mininirime tilted her head to the side as she handed Aeglos over.
“You know the Prince?” She asked.
“Um… not reall.” Erugenel replied. They all watched as she went over to the dragon’s side of the neck and pull out the delicate looking blade. “There you are.” She said with a smile. “I’m quite attached to my blades.” She confessed. Mininirime nodded her head in understanding.
“Where have you seen him?” She asked. Erugenel’s lips twitched up for a moment as she remembered watching him fight against the terrible creatures he was often up against in front of the gates of the kingdom… only a week before she left. She would have gone to help, but her father forbade it.
“Here in Mirkwood.” She told her. Mininirime continued to stare and she realized so was the Mirkwood army. She laughed nervously, she usually did not mind such circumstances… but after being gone for so long and recognizing only a few faces that did not seem to recognize her was a little nerve racking. She certainly did not know this elf.
“Well…” Erugenel looked at the dragon and sighed. “It’s too bad… not all of these creatures are bad.” She said with some regret as she ran a hand over the no longer alive mass of scales. “I am sorry about this. I never meant for it to end up here.” Erugenel told her. “He came on me the other night, I stuck my blade in him and he took off. I do not know if I would have followed him so far if I knew he would end up taking me here.” Aeglos neighed disaprovingly but only got a sour look from his master. He knew she would have followed him there any way, but she would have been more tactful about it so she would not end up being spotted by Thranduil. Under the circumstances who was to say he would not come hurrying over to make sure all was well and then spot her... then she would be trapped. "I better leave."

Mininirime sensed that the other elf was feeling ill at ease about being here. Was it her? Or Mirkwood? She thought, taking a step back wards, giving the strange horse some moving space. Her own horse Mordred had already joined them.
"Are you sure you don't have any injuries? Dragon wounds can leave ugly marks, and worse, if you leave them unattended." For some reason she didn't want the other elf to leave, she was fascinated by her.

“I…” Erugenel sighed. She did actually have an injury a minor one from being in the dragon’s mouth. He had not taken kindly to her stopping short instead of easily slipping into his stomach. “Well, I suppose I had better get it fixed before I take off again.” She moved her left arm around to reveal the cut on her side the blood staining the white material of her dress. She knew it was not very intelligent of her to travel in her white attire, but it was meant for traveling- mostly during the winter to blend in with the snow. And it had made her stand out in the night for the dragon- along with her fire. But she had foolishly left Lothlorien in it and had not taken a chance to change. “But… if we could maybe keep my presence um…” How was she supposed to say this? “Unknown to Lord Thranduil. I think it would be best.” If he knew why she had gone in instead of leaving at once he would scold her for being so reckless, but that came with what she had become.

Mininirime smiled. "That will not be too hard I think, I know a great healer who lives at the borders of the town. Besides, from what I hear Thranduil is to busy at the moment, to involve himself personally with every skirmish in his lands. News reached me that Mirkwood has been forces deal with more evil beings that just one dragon."
She got back on Mordred and after saying farewell to the members of the Mirkwood army, she and the other elf moved back into the forest. "Are you out of odds with Thranduil?"

Erugenel bit her bottom lip as she though riding Aeglos next to Mininirime. “Well not… the complete opposite actually.” She said. She glanced and her then let her gaze go back to the path ahead. “It’s just…” She sighed. “I have not actually been in Mirkwood for thousands of years, and he has been doing everything he can to get me to come visit.”
“Do you not like Mirkwood?” Mininirime asked.
“Oh no, I love it. Its just…” The reason is a secret. She though to herself. “That are certain reasons why… but I suppose it should not matter any more.” She said brushing it aside quickly. “But I have missed this place… more than I realized.” She added glancing around again. “And as long as his Highness does not know I am here, I suppose it wont hurt to wonder around for a day.” She laughed. “Other wise there may be no escape for me. Though if he hears word that I was here and did not seem him that could be worst.” She thought on biting her lip again, it was becoming a nervous habit she realized after stopping herself.

Mininirime saw the obvious unease of the other elf, concerning Thrandruil, and smiled friendly. "For now you do not have to worry about anyhing, The healer I know lives out of the way and from her place you can easlily wander through Mirkwood without Thranduil knowing anything. And due to the new guard system Thranduil thought up these border guards only report to him at the end of the season. And the season has just begun, so that will take a few months. Unless, they find this a very serious problem, but since the dragon is dead, I think they won't report back yet."
The two elves rode deeper and deeper into the forest, now and then they heard voices far away, but Mininirime steered away from those, respecting the other elves wish for privacy. After an hour's ride the reached a hedge, on the other side they heard voices more clearly now, but they saw nobody. Suddenly the hedge curved away and after several hunderd steps they reach a big tree, with a curvind stair. Mininirime got of Mordred and wispered something in his ear. "You stay hear, like a good boy, don't stray to far, I'll wistle when I need you again." Then she turned to The other elf. "Gwendelin the Healer lives here, she's very old and hardly gets out anymore. Whenever I come I help her out a bit. By the way, I'm Mininirime, From Rohan and Lothlorien."

Erugenel smiled dismounting Aeglos and ran a hand down his neck. “Be good.” She whispered and then he was off. “I am Nessa Erugenel Valadir. But just call me Erugenel, it’s what my friends tend to call me.” She thought a moment. “Lothlorien. My father’s mother was from there, but she married an elf from here and this is where he was born. It’s funny, my father brought my mother here too.” She smiled then sighed. “Well then, I guess I’d better get this fixed.”

Mininirime Lead her up the stairs rounding the tree, after a short climb thay reached a door and entered. "Gwendelin? I have brought a friend of mine, who needs some help."
Gwendelin came from an adjoining room and welcomed both young elves in and after looking shortly at Erugenel's wound she lead her into the other room. Mininirime waited and after half an hour or so they emerged again.
"How do you feel? She is a miracle working, isn;t she?" Mininirime smiled
