"What?" Legolas hushed himself as soon as he saw his father look sharply at him. The soldiers Erugenel had sent were speaking with the prince now.
"Yes, she seems to be defending the palace by herself. We found three others on our way to inform you and sent them to help her. She sent us to get you or Lord Thranduil, she did not seem to care who." The soldier said.
"Hmmm, all right. Gather any one you can find, and for pitty's sake do not leave her out there alone. She may be able to take on a dragon alone, but it is harder to fight an army of orcs when you have them surounding you." He touched his bow and ran a hand down the wood before speaking agian. "I will inform my father, now hurry up." He looked around knowing it would be best to wait until the Ladies were gone and his father was obviously ready for him.

Míriel's ear twitched at the sound of the Prince's voice. She turned, the King and her sister looking up as well. She asked outloud, "Orcs?"
Neisa paled considerably.
Thrnaduil's gaze hardened. "What?"
Legolas turned around and walked up to them to explain.

OOC: NO! DO NOT SPEAK OF SUCH A COUGH!! I get those during school, and then you have to leave class for like ever so you wont disturb the learning process and your eyes water up and gah! I HATE IT. I am terribly sorry for you.
"Erugenel, father, she is back."
"I know." Thranduil said with a sigh. Legolas's expression hardened.
"Thank you for not informing me." He said.
"It was un-expected." Legolas brushed the matter away and went on.
"Apparantley after we bumped into one another she ran into some orcs. They are here now and she seems to be defending the palace and herself with only a few others now." It was Thranduils turn to harden.
"Erugenel is fighting orcs?" He asked.
"You can't really blame her, I doubt she actually went out looking for them. She was in no state to actually be looking for trouble." He told him.
"All right, who is with her?" He asked.
"A handful of soldiers, I sent the men who came here to get more and join her. I will be going out myself in a moment."

"Do you know where they came from?" Míriel asked uprightly. She'd dealed with these kinds of things before, and the more you knew, the easier you could get rid of them.
"I'm not sure," Legolas replied.
"If they're from Isenguard, they'll be easier to outsmart, so you can use ground combat," she said. "But if they're from Mordor, you need both staionary bowmen and the foot soldiers."
Nimfea stood beside her like a white guardian, watching his mistress as she spoke. They began to walk towards the door, when a thought flitted through Míriel's mind. She turned back to Neisa, who was watching her with bright curiosity that a child does when they're seeing their parent do something extrordinary for the first time.
"Do you have training?" Míriel asked her.
Neisa's eyes widened. "In-In fighting?"
"Yes."
Neisa shook her head. "No-no, I could never-"
"Stay inside," Míriel commanded in a lofty and misty voice. "Do not go outside. I will send someone to come and get you when it is safe."

They marched out of the Hall and soon found the soldiers fighting off orcs, but where was Erugenel? Thranduil looked around worriedly until he found the white clothed demon with her twin blades, he shook his head and ushered the others to join the fight. He looked back Lady Neisa staring out, as she stood alone. But something caught his eye, a rider on a horse. He seemed confused to see the battle but when he saw Thranduil he hurried over and leant down to speak with him.
“I see Lady Valadir is- as usual preoccupied. Please give this to her. It is incredibly important.” Thranduil looked at the sealing and furrowed his brow.
“From Lord Aragorn?” He asked.
“He is not supposed to be passing on this information to Lady Valadir, but she is stubborn, and at the moment hurt. Expect a visitor in a matter of days as well.” Thranduil nodded his head and watched as the rider turned- a Gondorian of course, and began to ride off taking out a few orcs as he went. He turned to Lady Neisa and went to her.
“My Lady, this letter I am informed is very important. Could you hold onto it until after we are done here?” He asked. Neisa looked down at the letter now in her hands and nodded her head. “Thank you, Hanna will take care of you until we return.” Neisa gave a curtsey and turned from the battle holding the letter in her hand as if it were glass as the elf maid led her away.
Thranduil turned back ready to join the battle and could not help but wonder what the letter contained. He sighed within his heart knowing that indeed Erugenel was hurt, in more than one way.

Unsheathing her sword, Míriel and Legolas both jumped into the fight. It is not a dance, she replayed the words over in her mind. Míriel met a larger Orc's sword with her own, letting them drop and quickly swipe off his head. She spun, weaving the cresent moon shaped sword over her head, bringing it down diagonally down through another Orc's neck.
Time turns, They soon slow, Light burns, And defeat is close to the foe...
Their movements, over time, became heavier and they soon grew clumsy in their steps. Legolas shot at them in passing, going into a blind trance that he could not be pulled out of. It seemed he was not aware that he was killing twice the amount that normal soldiers would, either.
Míriel remained spotless through the battle, moving like water, calm like new snow. "Wind around them, trip them, they cannot keep up..." she seemed to chant, and she fell into a trance as well, and soon her movements sped up. Her arms were limber, her legs twirling her as she could slice at three in one turn. Something triggered in her, a deep motivation and determination-and it gave her anger too. What right do they have? She asked blindly.
And anger fuels the will.

Erugenel stopped and waited for a moment. There were many of them but their numbers were fading. Lady Miriel went through killing them as if they were only ugly weeds standing still. She wondered if her training had included Valenor. She scowled- she would not go back. They had trained her and she had proven herself- and what for? So she could sit prettily and use it as a conversation tool? Was that not why she had left? She had craved for new technique and knowledge; they had supplied her wherever she went. But this was the first time she had ever been fighting along side an army. Even a small one. Any other time it had been with him. Her heart crashed as she thought again of what he had said what he had done. A man- an elf she had thought had grown accustomed to her, believed in her, was a brother to her.
She raised her blades with tears in her eyes. She would think of him no more; one man had already ruined her life. And she had let him, but not any more. She had realized a long time ago that if she wanted a change, she would also have to change herself.
Swift, cool, and intertwining all knowledge and heart she had she went on destroying what she could. All battling here were skilled, she recognized that, why could they not see it in her? She paused her eyes catching movement outside of the battle. Orcs were sneaking into the hall. There were still others inside she mused, there always were. Spinning tightly her skirt flying as she made the strange movement, she cut off the head of orcs surrounding her, many of them dropping in a circle about her feet. Her hair whipped her in the face blinding her for a moment until a swift breeze flew it out behind her. And then she was running and jumping over fallen bodies to catch the unwelcomed visitors.

OOC: End it when you'd like Míriel continued to fight, her sword bloody almost up to the hilt now. It seemed that Prince Legolas would never run out of arrows, and Erugenel continued to fight on strong too. How did they get in? Why didn't anyone stop them? What do they want?

OOC: I guess we could stop the battle out side and take it in to the few that got into the palace.
Before Miriel realized it the orcs were gone. Some had gotten spooked because of the swiftness of the elves and ran off. The others- were dead. And now Thranduil was sending out scouts to go after the others that had ran away. And a few scouts to check the gate, he wanted to know how the creatures had gotten in.
Gemma walked to Legolas who was searching the area, though she did not know who for.
“What are you looking for?” She asked.
“Who.” He corrected. She shrugged and knew he saw it in the corner of his eye as he went on. “Erugenel is missing" he told her.
--
She pushed open the doors that lead into the hall from the throne room. None of the servants inside were harmed; they had smartly hid themselves when they found the doors opening. They had told her that Lady Neisa had been hurried out and was now avoiding the orcs. She did not know who Lady Neisa was, though she presumed it was the elf that had arrived when she had stupidly stormed out. But it did not matter what she had done. She thought as she hurried down the halls following signs of recent use catching glimpses every now and then as she rounded a corner. She was catching up, she had always been a fast runner and right now she was grateful for it when she found she was only feet away from the small group that was inside.

Míriel looked about, confused. she lifted the cloth of an orc's tunic and wiped her sword clean. "Could she have gone inside?" she asked, sheathing her sword.
Legolas looked at the doors and found them cracked. "Come on!"

They hurried in finding elves cleaning up things that have been knocked over. Miriel and Legolas exchanged glances.
“They’re inside.” She said in disbelief.
“She must have seen them.” He said thoughtfully. “She always spotted things when the rest of us were not paying attention.” Miriel raised her brows at the comment and he shrugged. “It usually involved sweets back then.”
“All right, lets go find out where she’s chasing after them.” They found soon enough it was not a difficult trail to follow- orcs were not very careful about evidence of their presense.
--
Erugenel stopped, she had them cornered, but they had her as well. Lady Niena she presumed was fighting rambunctiously in her captors arms, though she did not look like the fighting type.
“Let her go.” She ordered knowing her demand would be ignored.
“Why should we listen to you?” Erugenel raised a perfectly arched brow and gave a look that some of them recognized.
“Its her.” One of them whispered, Erugenel smiled.
“Let her go.” Her captor was stubborn and he stepped further back holding Nienna tightly.
“No.” Erugenel nodded at the word and took out her twin blades.
“All right.” She swung them in her hands and took down the first orc. There was nowhere for them to go and she had a whole hall behind her.

They ran down the halls, more things appearing more troubled and disturbed as they went further into the palace. Only when they came upon Erugenel did Míriel realize what had happened.
Neisa? NO!
"Where is she?!" Míriel shouted, her voice threatening as she practically snarled at them, her sword unsheated and pointed outward, looking for the weakest. She'd break them all if she had to.

Erugenel put a hand on her arm. “They are not going to give her up. We are going to have to kill them.” She told her. “And they have no where to go unless we give them space.”
“They will not be getting any of it from me.” Miriel said coldly. And with Legolas shooting his arrows behind them, they began to take down the small group of orcs.

OOC: sorry it's been such a long time.
Mininirime, who had silently followed Nessa as she had been taking to Thandruil, had left as she saw high guests arriving, she went back to the palace, where she freshened up and decided to take a rest. Soon after she had closed her eyes however she heard a disturbance, at first it sounded far away, outside the palace, but soon she heard screams and crashing sounds within the walls, she sad upright. "Only one breed can make noise like that." She muttered to herself. "Orcs!"
She got up quickly and put her garment back on, her shining dark blue skirts whirled a way around her slender long legs. The took a quick glance in the mirror and bound her fiery red hair. she quickly grabbed her bow and sword and hurried to the hall, where she arrived just in time to see Legolas and one of the high ladies she had seen earlier with Thandruil disappear through a door at the other end. She Hurried after them, unsheathing her sword, while taking well balanced long stride, before she knew it Legolas and the other woman had stopped and had joined Erugenel... And a host of Orcs. "Looks like we're just in time" She muttered. One of the orcs was holding an elf-maiden captured. Following the others example she sheathed her sword again and let her bow sing and her red feathered arrows found targets without any problem.

OOC: Why the crap was I calling her Nienna?
They took them down quickly and soon it was only the one orc with Neisa in his arms. He was cornered and the angry look in the surrounding evles eyes told him he was not going to survive. He took out a knife and held it up to Neisa’s throat she gasped and jerked back but he held her firm.
“Out of the way or the she-elf dies!” He shouted his voice hoarse. Erugenel looked back at the source of arrows expectantly and paled when she saw him standing there staring at the orc with fury. She turned back and took in a sharp breath. Where had he come from.
“Shoot him.” Erugenel said in elf, and then he was sinking to the ground Neisa struggling out of his limp arms.
